I like to slather myself in oil. There, I said it. As I’ve mentioned before, I love Morrocanoil for my hair. I also use Josie Maran Argan Oil on my face at night. You should try it. You will wake up, and your face will look like a baby’s bottom. Wait. It will be as smooth as a baby’s bottom. Whatever. When I was pregnant with Wells, someone told me to coat myself with baby oil after showering, to prevent stretch marks. I tried it, and since I was pregnant for more than 21 days, a habit was formed. I recently switched to Neutrogena body oil because it smells fantastic. Where are you going with this, Wowie? This is where I am going. The first two products I mentioned are primarily argan oil. Ever wondered where argan oil comes from? I did. So I googled it… big mistake. Meet the climbing goats of Morocco…
The goats climb the argan trees of Morocco in search of food, which is otherwise sparse in the region. Moroccans collect the undigested argan pits from the waste of the goats. The pits are then ground and pressed to make argan oil used in cooking and cosmetics.
Well, that is just gross. If you don’t want to talk to me anymore, I completely understand.
p.s. If you know where I can get one of those argan trees and a Moroccan goat, let me know.
